Greetings my dear sisters and brothers. I pray that you have a wonderful and joyous Sunday in the marvelous name of our Risen Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
I am happy to share with you a few more benefits of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and also give a word of encouragement and support to our preachers on this Preachers Lord’s Day.
First, here are two other benefits of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ:
YOU CAN CHANGE – It is possible for you to have renewed thinking and behavioral change. You can have it even when it looks impossible (Ephesians 4:22-24). Hear the Word of God.
“You were taught to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness” (Eph. 4: 22- 24).
YOU ARE BORN AGAIN – You have a new, holy, empowering way of living in this world through a new attitude and wise, healthy, sensible actions (Romans 10: 9; 1 Peter 1:3). The Word states, “because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Rom. 10: 9). Also, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Peter 1: 3).
Second, regarding our Preachers, special commendation to you this Preachers Lord’s Day. We appreciate you and give God thanks for you. Continue to serve the Lord in faithfulness and obedience always.
