A CALL TO PRAYER & FASTING (7 DAY DANIEL/WESLEY FASTS)

The Methodist Church St. Kitts Circuit will join the other Circuits of the Leeward Islands District in the Beginning of the New Church Year '7 Day Daniel/Wesley Fasts', to take place from today, Sunday, 4 September to next Sunday, 11 September, 2022.


This is a time to draw closer to God and to seek His divine will for our lives and His Church. During this time, daily Scripture readings have been provided to guide our study, reflection and meditation, and prayers; while our daily prayers will focus on our Church and its Ministry to include - Members, Congregations, Circuits, District, Connexion, Ministers, Preachers, Leaders, Officers, various Ministries, Commissions, Outreach, Evangelism, Renewal, along with the impact of National Development on the lives of people.


It is our endeavor to seek God to help us in the fulfillment of our mission mandate - to spread Scriptural holiness throughout the land and to reform the nation. [Please see the circulated District’s document for detailed information, which also be found on the Circuit’s website]



NOMINATIONS – CIRCUIT MCCA WOMEN

Nominations for the executive body of the St. Kitts Circuit MCCA Women Commission is now open. Please pick up a copy of the “guidelines for conducting elections” and a nomination form from the Circuit Office or ask your women group leader to secure one for you. All Methodist women (18 years and older) are eligible for nomination, but each nominee must show dedicated interest in women's work.


All nomination forms must be received in a sealed envelope at the Circuit office by September 14th, 2022 for the attention of Rev. Stacia Williams-Christmas.



TAKE-AWAY BREAKFAST

The Phipps Memorial Methodist Church will be hosting a Take-Away Breakfast on Friday 16th September 2022 from 7:00 am at the church grounds. Tickets are available from the members of the Women's Group. Proceeds in aid of its Building Fund. Come and support this event."

CONDOLENCES AND THANKSGIVING SERVICES

We pray that the peace of Christ will dwell with all who are mourning at this time including:


The family of the late Rev. Colton Bennett (South Caribbean). The Thanksgiving Service for his life will be held in Barbados on Thursday, 8 September, 2022 starting at 10:00 am;


The family of the late Bro. Clement Carty (Dominica). Bro. Clement was a former Circuit Steward of the Dominica Circuit and served as a District Auditor for several years;


The Thanksgiving Service of the life of the late Sis Marilyn Drew will be held on Saturday, 3rd September 2022 at the St. Paul’s Methodist Church. Viewing and tributes begin at 1:00 pm. Service begins at 2:00 pm.

The Harmony Christian Bookstore has a wide variety of study materials and other Christian literature and is opened daily, Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or call us at 466-1215.
