LID District Theme: “Trusting God Through Difficult Times: Transforming Obstacles into Opportunities”



RECOGNITION AND COMMISSIONING SERVICE

All are invited to join in the Recognition and Commissioning Service of Sis. Liane Irish-Wade as an Accredited Preacher. The Service will be held today, Lord’s Day, 3 October 2021 at the Wesley Methodist Church starting at 6:00 pm. All Covid-19 protocols will be observed. The Service will also be carried live on all Circuit media platforms.



HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF APPEAL- ST KITTS CIRCUIT

In response to the ongoing needs of our brothers and sisters in the Haiti District following the devastation caused by earthquake, members can make monetary donations directly to the Church office or deposits at St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Ltd – Account Number 25986; Account Name: Methodist Church - St. Kitts Circuit. If deposited to the bank, please indicate same to the Office.



MONITOR 2021 HURRICANE SEASON & COVID-19

Please continue to monitor information supplied by the Government Met Office, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and the National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) as we continue to be vigilant regarding the hurricane season and the COVID-19 Pandemic.



ASSISTANCE IN TIMES OF TROUBLE AND NEED

You may know of persons who are in need during this time of crisis, especially some who are quarantined and in dire need of essential supplies;let us, through the CARE Fund stewards, in the true spirit of the Christian Community, demonstrate love and compassion by assisting where necessary.


CIRCUIT MISSION AND EVANGELISM COMMITTEE

The Circuit Mission and Evangelism Committee will meet on Thursday, 7th October, 2021 at Immanuel, 6:00 p.m. Persons who are unable to attend physically will be given the opportunity to attend virtually. A link for the meeting will be circulated prior to the meeting. The Committee comprises one minister appointed by the Circuit, two representatives from each Congregational M & E, the Circuit Stewards, local preachers, commissioned lay workers and members elected by the Circuit Council.

The family of the late Rev’d. Mario Nicolas B., Supernumerary (Panama/Costa Rica). Rev’d Nicolas served as a President of the Panama/Costa Rica District. He was laid to rest on Saturday, 2 October 2021 following a Service of Thanksgiving for his life and ministry.

Tithes and offerings may also be received at the office during these hours. Contributions may also be made on-line, via the Circuit website, www.skmethodist.org.



HARMONY BOOKSTORE OPENING HOURS

Harmony Christian Bookstore is also open daily, Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Visit the store for a wide variety of study materials and other Christian literature or call us at 466-1215.



METHODIST MEDIA

Methodist Media, the official communications arm of the Methodist Church St. Kitts Circuit, is available to provide services for upcoming circuit and congregational events.


If you would like to consult with the media team for your church event, please contact the church office and complete the Methodist Media request form.


We strongly recommend making your request at least 2 weeks prior to your event date. Note that you will be expected to meet with the media team at least twice prior to your event to ensure all needs are addressed and the media team has all the details needed to adequately support your event. Methodist Media looks forward to working with you.
