LID District Theme: “Trusting God in Difficult Times: Transforming Obstacles into Opportunities”


Zone 2 will be holding its Seniors' Extravaganza on Saturday, 14 May 2022 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Frigate Bay Lawn. Seniors, 62 years and over, are eligible to attend.

Interested persons should give their names to the Congregational Stewards of your congregation or to Rev Hunkins by Tuesday, 10 May 2022. Participants are being asked to walk with water and snacks. Lunch will be provided. Transportation will be provided for the participants. Each congregation will be responsible for registering their members and for the payment on their behalf.


All are invited to share in the Circuit Aldersgate Rally to be held at the Ebenezer Church grounds on Sunday, 22nd May 2022 starting 5:00 pm. “Come, join the Celebration!”


There will be a meeting to plan the upcoming Circuit Music Camp scheduled for Monday 11th – Saturday, 16th July 2022. The meeting will be held at Ebenezer Methodist Church on Wednesday, 1st June 2022 at 6:00 pm. Music Camp Registration

Persons interested in attending the Circuit Music Camp are being asked to register by Friday, 27 May 2022 at a cost of $100.00. Registration forms may be obtained from the Congregational Stewards of your congregation or from the Circuit Office as of Monday, 9 May 2022. Training is being offered in the following instruments: Keyboard, Rhythm Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drum Set, Steel Pan, Trumpet, and Saxophone. Persons may register for a maximum of three instruments. There will be a maximum of 30 Campers. Individuals and/or congregations are free to sponsor persons.


We extend birthday and anniversary wishes to all who are celebrating this week. We remind and encourage you to offer thanks to Almighty God for his goodness and mercy throughout the years of your life.


We pray that the peace of Christ will dwell with all who are mourning at this time including:

The family of the late Sis. Avis Douglas (Ebenezer). The Thanksgiving Service for her life will be held on Monday, 9 May 2022 at the Wesley Methodist Church starting at 2:00 pm.

The family of the late Sis. Lorna Richards (Wesley), including her son, Bertram. Among other things, Sis. Lorna was organist for several congregations. The Thanksgiving Service for her life will be held on Thursday, 19 May 2022 at the Wesley Methodist Church starting at 2:00 pm.

The Thanksgiving Service for the life of the late Sis. Georgina Maynard aka Paulette Archibald will be held on Thursday, 12 May 2022 at the Cayon Methodist Church starting at 2:00 pm.
