LID District Theme: “Trusting God in Difficult Times: Transforming Obstacles into Opportunities”

EPWORTH/MAURICE HILLIER SCHOOL REGISTRATION

Parents and Guardians are asked to note that registration for the new Kindergarten class 2022 -2023 at the Epworth/Maurice Hillier Memorial Junior School is now open. The Registration fee is $100.00, Non-Refundable. A recent passport sized (half snap) picture, birth certificate or passport, an immunization/Clinic Record for the person being registered, parents’ Identification card, a job letter, proof of address and immigration status for non-nationals must be presented at the time of registration, which ends on 18th March, 2022.

CIRCUIT ORGAN RECITAL - POSTPONEMENT

Regrettably, due to varying reasons, the Circuit Organ Recital has been postponed until further notice. Apologies are offered for any inconvenience caused. Please stay tuned for further details.



MCCA MEN’S WEEK OF ACTIVITIES (27 FEBRUARY – 06 MARCH 2022)

The St. Kitts Circuit Men’s Commission will be having a week of activities surrounding the observance of MCCA Men Lord’s Day (the last Sunday in the month of February of each year). The activities are as follows:


Sunday, 27th February - MCCA Men Lord’s Day

(ALL men are to take an active role in the morning worship in the various congregations)

ALL Male Gospel Concert at the Wesley Methodist Church starting at 6:30 p.m.


Tuesday, 1st March - Rap Session

Topic: “The Role of Men in and their Contribution to Community.”

St. Johnston Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m.


Thursday, 3rd March - Panel Discussion

Topic: “The Impact of the Pandemic on our Youth – physical, spiritual, psycho-social, educational.”

Immanuel Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m.


Saturday, 5th March - ALL Male Cricket Match (Nevis Circuit versus the St. Kitts Circuit)

Samuel Williams Sports Complex (formerly the Verchild’s Playing Field) at 10:30 a.m.


Sunday, 6th March - Open Air Service

Dieppe Bay at 5:30 p.m.



SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are currently available to nationals interested in pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies in various countries, including the USVI. For more information, please contact the Human Resource Department at Government Headquarters at 467 1323. Interested members are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunities available.

The Thanksgiving Service for the life of the late Bro. Joseph Morgan will be held at the Phipps Memorial Methodist Church on Wednesday, 2 February, 2022 starting at 2:00 pm;


The Thanksgiving Service for the late Bro. Alexis Knight will be held on Thursday, 3 February 2022 at the Wesley Methodist Church starting at 2: 00 pm;


The Thanksgiving Service for the life of the late Rev’d Joseph Lloyd, Supernumerary (Anguilla), will be held on Friday, 4 February 2022 commencing at 10:00 am.

The Harmony Christian Bookstore still have available copies of “Our Daily Bread” devotionals for 2022 and a wide variety of study materials and other Christian literature. Harmony Christian Bookstore is opened daily, Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or call us at 466-1215.
