CANDLELIGHT SERVICES

Candlelight Services will be held in Zones later today as follows:


The Zone One Service will be held at Wesley for St. Johnston, Hope Chapel and Wesley congregations, starting at 6:00 p.m.


The Zone Two Service will be held at Ebenezer for Challengers, Ebenezer, Phipps Memorial and Cayon congregations commencing at 6:00 p.m.


The Zone Three Service will be held at Immanuel for Immanuel, St. Paul’s, K. G. Swanston, and Tabernacle congregations, starting at 7:00 p.m.


Please take along a candle (and holder) to be able sing special Carols by candlelight. Covid-19 Protocols will be observed.



CONGRATULATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS

We extend birthday and anniversary greetings to all who are celebrating this week. We remind and encourage you to offer thanks to Almighty God for his goodness and mercy throughout the years of your life and that of your loved ones.



CONDOLENCES AND THANKSGIVING SERVICE

We extend condolences to Sisters Agnes and Linda Flemming of Wesley on the death of their brother, James. The Thanksgiving Service will be held on Monday, 21 December, 2020 at Wesley Methodist Church, starting at 2:00 pm.


The Thanksgiving Service for the late Sis. Masie Hensley will be held on Monday, 21 December, 2020 at the Phipps Memorial Methodist Church, Half Way Tree, starting at 2:00 pm.


The Thanksgiving Service for the late Sis. Elvira Rawlins will be held on Tuesday, 22 December, 2020 at Wesley Methodist Church, Seaton Street, starting at 2:00 pm.

We pray that the peace of Christ will dwell with all who are mourning at this time.



ESSENCE OF HOPE

The Essence of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation continues to advocate for early detection through our ‘Feel a Lump?’ mammogram campaign. If you require financial assistance, please contact Essence of Hope at ouressence2009@gmail.com or 660-0152 to make arrangements.



CIRCUIT OFFICE

This week, the Circuit Office is open Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily but will be closed on Friday, 25 December, 2020. Tithes and offerings may also be received at the office during these hours. Contributions may also be made on-line, via the redesigned Circuit website, www.skmethodist.org. The Office Staff takes the opportunity to extend blessed Christmas greetings to all.



HARMONY BOOKSTORE OPENING HOURS

The Harmony Christian Bookstore announces the arrival of its Christmas merchandise - new books and journals, a wide variety of gift items to suit everyone on your list and, a large selection of beautiful Christmas cards. The 2021 edition of “Our Daily Bread” is also available. Come in and do your shopping early. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can call us at 466-1215. See you there.
