LONG AND ANNUAL LEAVE

Please note that Revs. Mark and Stacia Christmas are on annual leave until 31 August 2022. Rev. Tyrone Hunkins is acting as Superintendent.


Please also note that Rev. Andrine Joseph is on long leave until 31 August 2022.

APPLICATIONS INVITED

Applications are further invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the post of Primary School Teacher at the Epworth/Maurice Hillier Memorial Junior School. This is a professional position where the job holder has classroom-level accountability and responsibility for the supervision and instruction of students, designing engaging lessons, measuring, monitoring and recording students’ progress and reporting the progress to parents.


Applicants must have a teacher’s certificate or diploma with a specialty in primary education. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.


Applications must be submitted to Rev. Mark Christmas, Chairman of the Board of Management, Methodist Church Circuit Office, Seaton Street, Basseterre, on, or before 2 September, 2022



NOMINATIONS – CIRCUIT MCCA WOMEN

Nominations for the executive body of the St. Kitts Circuit MCCA Women Commission is now open. Please pick up a copy of the “guidelines for conducting elections” and a nomination form from the Circuit Office or ask your women group leader to secure one for you. All Methodist women (18 years and older) are eligible for nomination, but each nominee must show dedicated interest in women's work.


All nomination forms must be received in a sealed envelope at the Circuit office by September 14th, 2022 for the attention of Rev. Stacia Williams-Christmas.

CONGRATULATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS

We extend birthday and anniversary wishes to all who are celebrating this week. We remind and encourage you to offer thanks to Almighty God for his goodness and mercy throughout the years of your life.


We extend congratulations to Hon. Garth Wilkin (Wesley) and Dr. Marcus Natta (Wesley) on their recent appointments as Senator/Attorney General and Cabinet Secretary, respectively. We pray God’s guidance, even as they seek God’s wisdom, in the performance of their duties.


We also say “thank you” to Sis. Josephine Huggins (Hope) for her sterling service carried out as Cabinet Secretary over the past seven years, May God continue to bless and keep her as she enters a different stage of her life’s journey.

The family of the late Sis. Jane “Jenny” Hickson (Wesley/Cardin Home) who died at the age of 100 years old.


The family of Sis Marilyn Drew of the St. Paul’s Methodist Church. The family includes Sis Triphena Hodge of the Immanuel Congregation. The Thanksgiving Service will be held on Saturday, 3rd September 2022 at the St. Paul’s Methodist Church. Viewing and tributes begin at 1:00 pm. Service begins at 2:00 pm.


The family of Clement Athelstan Hicks of the Wesley Methodist Church. The Thanksgiving Service will be held on Wednesday, 31st August 2022 at the Wesley Methodist Church. Viewing and tributes begin at 1:00pm. Service begins at 2:00pm.


The family of Sis Lucille Buchanan of the Immanuel Methodist Church, including Sis. Rheo Buchanan. The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, 29th August 2022 at 6:00 pm at the Immanuel Methodist Church.
