LID District Theme: “Trusting God Through Difficult Times: Transforming Obstacles into Opportunities”



VOLCANO IMMEDIATE RELIEF APPEAL- ST KITTS CIRCUIT

In response to the immediate needs of our brothers and sisters in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, members can respond in a number of the following ways;

  1. Donation of critical items to be left at the Wesley Annex by Friday, 23 April, 2021 (please contact the Circuit Office or visit the Circuit website, www.skmethodist.org, for a list of items).

  2. A “Solidarity Offering” to be collected on Lord’s Day, 25 April, 2021.

  3. Monetary donations can be made directly to the Church office or deposited at St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Ltd – Account Number 25986; Account Name: Methodist Church - St. Kitts Circuit. If deposited to the bank, please same indicate to the Office.

Contact stewards are asked to coordinate congregational efforts for items and have same delivered to the Wesley Annex. Dr. Christine Walwyn is the Circuit Coordinator.


VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PRINCIPAL – WESLEY HIGH SCHOOL

The Board of Management of the Wesley High School, Dominica Circuit, invites applications for the position of Principal.Application forms and other information pertaining to the criteria and job description can be accessed from the school’s website: https://whsdominica.org/2021/03/31/vacancy-announcement-for-principal/ or through the Dominica Methodist Circuit Office. CONDOLENCES, THANKSGIVING SERVICE AND EXPRESSION OF THANKS

Condolences are extended to Rev'd Ablamy Lataillade (Haiti) on the death of his brother, Ronald Lataillade;


To Rev. Relis Martin-Riley (St. Eustatius) on the death of her sister, and;


To Rev. Dr. Keith B. Lewis (BVI) on the death of a family member.


The Thanksgiving Service of the Sis. Claudia James (Wesley) will be held on Wednesday, 28 April, 2021 at the Wesley Methodist Church starting at 11:00 am.


The family of the late Keon Omar Fyfield expresses thanks to the entire Methodist Community for your support, prayers, and expressions of sympathies during their time of mourning. Your calls, messages, flowers, or attendance at the funeral was greatly appreciated.


We pray that the peace of Christ will dwell with all who are mourning at this time.



CIRCUIT OFFICE

The Circuit Office is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily and can be reached via telephone numbers 465-2346/662-2885 or email, info@skmethodist.org. Tithes and offerings may also be received at the office during these hours. Contributions may also be made on-line, via the Circuit website, www.skmethodist.org.



HARMONY BOOKSTORE OPENING HOURS

The Harmony Christian Bookstore still has new books and journals, a wide variety of gift items to suit everyone on your list. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can call us at 466-1215. See you there.
