LID District Theme: “Trusting God in Difficult Times: Transforming Obstacles into Opportunities”



JOINT MEETING OF CIRCUIT PASTORAL/CIRCUIT COUNCIL

A joint meeting of the Circuit Pastoral/Circuit Council will be held today, Sunday, 10 April 2022 at the Wesley Methodist Church starting at 4:30 pm.



HOLY WEEK SERVICES

2022 Holy Week Services will be held nightly in congregations according to the Preachers’ Plan.


Holy Thursday Services will be held in Zones at the following locations:

Zone 1 at St. Johnston; Zone 2 at Ebenezer; Zone 3 at K.G. Swanston. Services will include the observance of a Love Feast.

All Services begin at 7:00 pm.


Good Friday Services will be held in congregations according to the Preachers’ Plan.



MUSICAL - “CELEBRATE THE RISEN CHRIST”

The Wesley Youths on the Go presents an evening of dance, instrumental music and singing with a featured musical entitled “Celebrate the Risen Christ” on Easter Sunday, 17 April 2022 at 5:00 pm at the Wesley Methodist Church. The price is only $20 for Adults and $5 for children under the age of 18. Tickets are available from the Wesley Youths and Youth Advisers and at the Christian Harmony Book Store. Come and be blessed, as we celebrate the Risen Christ.



BIKE-A-THON

The St. Paul’s Methodist Church will be hosting an Island-wide Bike-a-thon on Monday, 18 April 2022 starting at 7:00 am. The route starts from St. Paul’s Primary School going west and ends at the Frigate Bay Lawn. Bring your Bike!


CONGRATULATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS

We extend birthday and anniversary wishes to all who are celebrating this week. We remind and encourage you to offer thanks to Almighty God for his goodness and mercy throughout the years of your life.


The William Natta Memorial Scholarship Fund says “thank you to all [its] Fund donors and well-wishers” as it celebrated 12 years on 8 April, 2022.

The family of the late Sis. Louise Kelly (Wesley). The Thanksgiving Service for her life will be held at the Wesley Methodist Church on Wednesday, 20 April 2022 starting at 2:00 pm.

The Harmony Christian Bookstore has a wide variety of study materials and other Christian literature and is opened daily, Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or call us at 466-1215.
