PRAYER & FAST

Members are reminded and encouraged to participate in the Prayer and

Fast every Friday during the Season of Lent ending at 3:00 p.m. or sunset on Good Friday. Those using the Wesley Fast will begin on the Thursday prior at sunset and will end at 3:00 p.m. or at sunset on the Friday. Members who will be doing the Daniel Fast, instead, will begin on the Friday morning and end at 3:00 p.m. or sunset on the same day. Please pray every hour on the hour for five minutes or longer for different concerns.



SKCC LENTEN SERVICES

The St. Kitts Christian Council (SKCC) Midday Lenten Services continue this coming Wednesday, 10 March, 2021, under the general theme "The Cross of Jesus Christ." The Service this week and for the rest of the Lenten Series will be carried via ZIZ TV and MRN, from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. The Salvation Army Communion will lead this week’s Service, the sub-theme for which will be "The Cross and Following Jesus." All are invited to tune in.



LENTEN TEACHING SESSIONS

The Lenten Teaching Sessions have been postponed for this year and will take a different format post-Easter. Further details will be given in subsequent announcements. Meanwhile, members are encouraged to join the various sessions organized by the various circuits/congregations/districts including those of the South Caribbean District. Their next two sessions are today, Sunday, 7 March exploring the topic, “Emotional Intelligence” and Wednesday, 10 March, 2021, “Grief & Depression Management”. Both sessions begin at 6:00 pm (via ZOOM ID: 811 1033 2888).



CONGRATULATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS

We extend birthday and anniversary greetings to all who are celebrating this week. We remind and encourage you to offer thanks to Almighty God for his goodness and mercy throughout the years of your life and that of your loved ones.



CONDOLENCES AND THANKSGIVING SERVICES

Condolences are extended to the family of the late Sandra Hanley, including her daughter, Alsanarda, and cousin, Sis. Venelma Hanley, of St. Johnston.


The Thanksgiving Service for the late Bro. Burchell Crooke of Wesley will be held on Thursday, 11 March, 2021 at the Wesley Methodist Church, Seaton St, commencing at 2:00 pm. Viewing will begin at 1:00 pm.


We pray that the peace of Christ will dwell with all who are mourning at this time.



SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are currently available to nationals interested in pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Romania. For more information, please contact the Human Resource Department at Government Headquarters at 467-1323. Interested members are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunities available.



CIRCUIT OFFICE

The Circuit Office is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily and can be reached via telephone numbers 465-2346/662-2885 or email, info@skmethodist.org. Tithes and offerings may also be received at the office during these hours. Contributions may also be made on-line, via the Circuit website, www.skmethodist.org.



HARMONY BOOKSTORE OPENING HOURS

The Harmony Christian Bookstore still has new books and journals, a wide variety of gift items to suit everyone on your list. The 2021 edition of “Our Daily Bread” is also available. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can call us at 466-1215. See you there.



METHODIST MEDIA VOLUNTEERS

The Methodist Media Team, which is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of communication and publicity for the Circuit, need workers in this area of the Vineyard. Here is your chance to be a part of this exciting experience. Yes! You heard right! We are inviting everyone interested in working in website design, photography, videography, and audio production to join the Methodist Media team. This is an invitation for you come onboard, explore your passion, and burst alive the talents you were blessed with in one or more of the many areas of media technology.
