PRAYER & FAST

Members are reminded and encouraged to participate in the Prayer and

Fast every Friday during the Season of Lent ending at 3:00 p.m. or sunset on Good Friday. Those using the Wesley Fast will begin on the Thursday prior at sunset and will end at 3:00 p.m. or at sunset on the Friday. Members who will be doing the Daniel Fast, instead, will begin on the Friday morning and end at 3:00 p.m. or sunset on the same day.Please pray every hour on the hour for five minutes or longer for different concerns.



SKCC LENTEN SERVICES

The St. Kitts Christian Council (SKCC) Midday Lenten Services conclude this coming Wednesday, 31 March, 2021, under the general theme "The Cross of Jesus Christ." The Service this week will be carried via ZIZ TV and MRN, from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. The Roman Catholic Communion will lead this week’s Service, the sub-theme for which will be " PARADOX OF THE CROSS – humanity’s worst and God’s best". All are invited to tune in.



LENTEN TEACHING SESSIONS

Members are encouraged to join the various sessions organized by the various circuits/congregations/districts including those of the South Caribbean District. Their concluding sessions are today, Sunday, 28 March exploring the topics, “Cultivating Healthy Relationships” and “Fatherhood in Contemporary Caribbean Family Systems”. The Sessions begin at 4:00 pm (via ZOOM ID: 811 1033 2888).



HOLY WEEK SERVICES

2021 Holy Week Services will be held nightly in congregations according to the Preachers’ Plan.


Holy Thursday Services will be held in Zones at the following locations:

Zone 1 at Wesley; Zone 2 at Challengers; Zone 3 at Tabernacle. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be administered.

All Services begin at 7:00 pm.


Good Friday Services will be held in congregations according to the Preachers’ Plan.



DISCIPLE BIBLE STUDY

The Zone 1 Wednesday Night Disciple Bible Study Group will resume on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Wesley Church Hall at 7 p.m. Please wear masks. All persons are asked to read Lesson 22 in preparation for the study.



GOSPEL REVIVAL WEEK

The Ebenezer Methodist Congregation, Old Road, presents “Gospel Revival Week” under the theme, “Reconstructing for Radical Renewal”. The Week runs April 5-11, 7:00 pm nightly. Come and be renewed!



CONGRATULATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS

We extend birthday and anniversary greetings to all who are celebrating this week. We remind and encourage you to offer thanks to Almighty God for his goodness and mercy throughout the years of your life and that of your loved ones.



CONDOLENCES AND EXPRESSIONS OF THANKS

Condolences are extended to Sis. Icilma Springer and family (Tabernacle), on the death of her aunt, Caroline Mills. The Thanksgiving Service for the late Sis Mills was held on Thursday, 25 March, 2021, and;


To the family of the late Keon Fyfield, including his mother, Marlene Fyfield, of Wesley;


Sis. Gillian Crooke, widow of the late Burchell Crooke, her daughters Shenel and Giselle, and the entire extended family would like to say a big Thank you to the Pastor and Members of Wesley Methodist Church, inclusive of Dr Louisa Lawrence and the members of Vision and Voices, for their support during their time of bereavement.

“A hug, a kind word, a telephone call, a message, a card, a bouquet of flowers, your attendance at the funeral or in any other way you have shown your concern and support went a long way.”


We pray that the peace of Christ will dwell with all who are mourning at this time.



CIRCUIT OFFICE

The Circuit Office will be closed on Friday, 2 April and Monday, 5 April in observance of Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively. It will be open on the remaining days, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily and can be reached via telephone numbers 465-2346/662-2885 or email, info@skmethodist.org. Tithes and offerings may also be received at the office during these hours. Contributions may also be made on-line, via the Circuit website, www.skmethodist.org.



HARMONY BOOKSTORE OPENING HOURS

The Harmony Christian Bookstore still has new books and journals, a wide variety of gift items to suit everyone on your list. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that the Bookstore will be closed on Friday, 2 April and Monday, 5 April in observance of Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively. You can call us at 466-1215. See you there.
