MONITOR 2021 HURRICANE SEASON & COVID-19

Please continue to monitor information supplied by the Government Met Office, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and the National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) as we continue to be vigilant regarding the hurricane season and the COVID-19 Pandemic.



ASSISTANCE IN TIMES OF TROUBLE AND NEED

You may know of persons who are in need during this time of crisis, especially some who are quarantined and in dire need of essential supplies;let us, through the CARE Fund stewards, in the true spirit of the Christian Community, demonstrate love and compassion by assisting where necessary.



BEST OF THE HARVEST

Best of the Harvest will be held today, Sunday, November 28, at the Wesley Methodist Church, Seaton Street, starting at 4:30 p.m. You are encouraged to wear colourful attire.



CIRCUIT ORGAN RECITAL

Please note that the Circuit Organ Recital which was scheduled for 31 October, 2021 has been postponed to 30 January, 2022. Stay tuned for further details.



CONGRATULATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS

We extend birthday and anniversary wishes to all who are celebrating this week. We remind and encourage you to offer thanks to Almighty God for his goodness and mercy throughout the years of your life.


We extend heartiest congratulations to Sis. Bryanna Edwards (Wesley) for being counted among the 25 Most Remarkable Teens for her being “Committed to Positivity”, Sis. Zariah Walters (St. Johnston) for her “Spirit of Hope”, Sis. Lyshanna Hensley (Hope) for her “Entrepreneurship”, and Bro. David Walters (St. Johnston) for the “Courage to Overcome”.



CONDOLENCES AND THANKSGIVING SERVICES

We pray that the peace of Christ will dwell with all who are mourning at this time including:


The family of the late Bro. Alfred Brandy (Wesley). The Thanksgiving Service for his life will be held at the St. Johnston Methodist Church on Tuesday, 30 November, 2021 starting at 2:00 pm;


Dr. Robertine Chaderton (Hope), on the death of her brother, Irvine Lee (Antigua);


Rev’d. Florence Daley (Montserrat) on the death of her brother, David Edgecombe;


The Thanksgiving Service for the life of the late Hyacinth Fraser-Bolus (Ebenezer) will be held at the Ebenezer Methodist Church on Thursday, 2 December, 2021 starting at 2:00 pm.



CIRCUIT OFFICE

The Circuit Office is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily and can be reached via telephone numbers 465-2346/662-2885 or email, info@skmethodist.org. Tithes and offerings may also be received at the office during these hours. Contributions may also be made on-line, via the Circuit website, www.skmethodist.org.



HARMONY CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORE

Just arrived at Harmony Christian Bookstore are “Our Daily Bread” devotionals for 2022, Christmas Cards, and a wide variety of Christmas Gifts to suit everyone in the family. Also available are a wide variety of study materials and other Christian literature. So, hurry down and do your shopping early. Harmony Christian Bookstore is also open daily, Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or call us at 466-1215.



METHODIST MEDIA

Methodist Media, the official communications arm of the Methodist Church St. Kitts Circuit, is available to provide services for upcoming circuit and congregational events.


If you would like to consult with the media team for your church event, please contact the church office and complete the Methodist Media request form.


We strongly recommend making your request at least 2 weeks prior to your event date. Note that you will be expected to meet with the media team at least twice prior to your event to ensure all needs are addressed and the media team has all the details needed to adequately support your event.
