METHODIST HERITAGE MONTH

The month of May is being observed as Methodist Heritage Month

Special events in the month include:


Sunday, 21 May:

Circuit Aldersgate celebrations at the K.G. Swanston Memorial Methodist Chapel, Dieppe Bay, commencing with Morning Worship at 9:30. The Afternoon Session begins at 2:30 p.m.


Sunday, 21 May: CIRCUIT PICNIC

The Circuit Whit Monday Picnic will be held on Monday, 29 May at Frigate Bay Lawn. A ‘round-the-island’ family whistle stop is being planned for the first half of the day, starting off at 8:30 a.m. from Wesley chapel and ending at the Frigate Bay lawn. We look forward to the participation of all families. Congregations are asked to organize their own transportation, food, and snacks.

All are invited to share in the Public Events during the Session of the Connexional Council 2023, Guyana, as follows:

CONDOLENCES, THANKSGIVING SERVICES AND EXPRESSIONS OF THANKS

The Thanksgiving Service for the life of the late Bro. L Warrington Grant will be held on Tuesday, 23 May 2023 at the Immanuel Methodist Church starting at 2:00 pm.



ST CHRISTOPHER OUTREACH CENTER

Kindly note that volunteerism is encouraged at the Outreach Center as each Communion is rotated weekly. The Catholic Communion is responsible for the week of 22-26 May 2023. Persons desiring to volunteer at the Outreach Center, Irish Town Bay Road, can give their names to the Circuit Office.

HARMONY CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORE

The Management of the Harmony Christian Bookstore is seeking volunteers. Interested persons are invited to call the Circuit Office for further details.The Bookstore is open Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or call us at 466-1215.
