LID District Theme: “Trusting God in Difficult Times: Transforming Obstacles into Opportunities”



METHODIST INSPIRATIONAL LEADERS (MIL) LECTURE

The Methodist Inspirational Leaders (Ebenezer) extends an invitation to all to a lecture on “Will and Estate Planning” on Monday, 13th March, 2023 at 7:00pm at the Ebenezer Methodist Church. The presenter will be Bro Azard Gumbs, Attorney-At-Law, Gumbs Legal Chambers.



EPWORTH/MAURICE HILLIER SCHOOL REGISTRATION

Parents and Guardians are asked to note that registration for the new Kindergarten class 2023 -2024 at the Epworth/Maurice Hillier Memorial Junior School is open. The Registration fee is $100.00, Non-Refundable. A recent passport sized (half snap) picture, birth certificate or passport, an immunization/Clinic Record for the person being registered, parents’ Identification card, a job letter, proof of address and immigration status for non-nationals must be presented at the time of registration, which ends on 31st March, 2023.



2024 MCCA YOUTH ENCUENTRO APPLICATIONS

Application is now open for persons ages 15-25 years, who are desirous of attending the 2024 MCCA Youth Encuentro. This will be held in Nassau, Bahamas, Monday, 22July to Monday, 29 July 2024.


Application forms for acceptance as a delegate for the St. Kitts Circuit can be collected from the Circuit Office, from your Youth Leader, or Minister. All completed applications should be submitted to the Circuit Office, Seaton Street, for the attention of Rev. Stacia Williams-Christmas on or before Friday, 31 March, 2023. Please note that applying does not confirm acceptance to be a delegate.

SKCC LENTEN SERVICES

The St. Kitts Christian Council (SKCC) Midday Lenten Services continue on Wednesday, 15 March 2023, under the general theme "Journeying Through the Wilderness." The Services are being held at the Co-Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Basseterre, from 12:10 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. This week’s Service will be led by the Methodist Communion under the sub-theme “Enduring Isolation.” All are invited.



ZONAL LENTEN TEACHING SESSIONS

Please note that the Zonal Lenten Teaching Sessions will continue Wednesday, 15 March, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. as follows:

Zone 1 @ Wesley - “When the Ordinary is Complicated”with Rev. Stacia Williams-Christmas

Zone 2 @ Immanuel - “When the Unexpected Occurs” with Rev. Mark Christmas

Zone 3 @ K.G. Swanston - Defining the Role of the “Village” with Rev. Tyrone Hunkins
